CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — The Illinois basketball team is bracing for another game at the State Farm Center, but they’ll have to make do without several key players.

In a recent pregame press briefing, head coach Brad Underwood revealed that Tomislav Ivisic and Brandon Lee will not be available for their upcoming clash with Texas Tech. This adds to the ongoing absence of Ty Rodgers. On a positive note, Andrej Stojakovic, who recently saw some action against FGCU, has been cleared to play, while Mihailo Petrovic is making strides in his recovery and is expected to suit up.

“He’ll probably be in a uniform,” Underwood mentioned regarding Petrovic. “We’ll see how it reacts again today. He’s just starting with some light activity, but given he’s only participated in about seven out of our 31 or 32 practices, there’s still a process to getting him fully back.”

Stojakovic marked his Illinois debut with a solid performance, spending 21 minutes on the court and contributing nine points along with five rebounds, as he carefully returns from a knee injury.

The team faces a formidable challenge as they host Texas Tech in a highly anticipated Top 15 showdown, set for Tuesday, November 11, at 7:30 p.m.
