Authorities are still searching for the gunman who opened fire inside a crowded Bay Area Halloween store Friday night, killing a pregnant woman and wounding six other people.
Constance Hages, 31, was pronounced dead at the scene after suffering multiple gunshot wounds in the attack at Spirit Halloween, located in Fairfield’s Solano Town Center, police said. The shooting was reported at about 8:30 p.m.
Relatives told investigators that Hages was a mother of four and was pregnant when she was killed.
Investigators have not publicly identified the shooter or released a detailed description. A motive has also not been determined.
Jocelyn Lopez Tabares, 15, and her 23-year-old sister were inside the store searching for last-minute costume accessories when the gunfire broke out. Tabares captured the chaos on her cellphone.
“I just had a feeling to do it… to record for evidence,” she told The California Post. “And then after I stopped the video, I called my mom, because what if I wasn’t going to make it out of there?”
The footage shows shoppers scrambling in terror as people ducked between clothing racks and searched for places to hide.

Police said six people were injured in the shooting.
A 16-year-old boy, a 19-year-old man and a 32-year-old man remained hospitalized in critical condition. A fourth victim, a 23-year-old man, was reported to be in critical but stable condition.
Two additional victims, ages 19 and 43, were treated for gunshot wounds and released from the hospital Saturday.
Fairfield police said early evidence indicates the shooting was a “targeted incident” involving a single suspect who left the area before officers arrived.
“Based on preliminary information obtained during the investigation, the shooting is believed to have stemmed from a targeted incident involving one suspect inside the Spirit Halloween store,” the department said in a social media statement.
The FBI’s Sacramento field office sent its Evidence Response Team to the Solano Town Center on Friday to help Fairfield police process the extensive crime scene.
