Reports: Shooter, Police Officer Dead After Shooting Near Emory University Campus and CDC in Atlanta

Last month, a California woman, initially reported missing by her husband, was tragically discovered deceased on her own property just a week later.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department revealed that the body of Hiroko Nagao was found by her husband.

According to the husband’s account, he left their residence around noon on October 23, only to return later to find his 51-year-old wife missing, despite her belongings being left behind.

He promptly contacted the sheriff’s department to report her disappearance.

While it remains unclear how extensively the authorities searched for her, it wasn’t until October 31 that the husband discovered her body on their property.

The sheriff’s department, which delayed publicizing the death until ten days after the discovery, stated that their homicide unit is now leading the investigation. They are currently awaiting autopsy results to determine both the cause and manner of her death.
