CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – SpaceX is gearing up for yet another exciting launch from Florida’s iconic Space Coast, with a fresh batch of Starlink satellites set to take flight later this week.
According to a statement from SpaceX, their Falcon 9 rocket will be entrusted with the task of delivering 29 Starlink satellites into orbit. The launch will take place at the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, a site synonymous with space exploration.
The launch window is scheduled to open on Friday at 10:01 p.m., with opportunities extending until 2:01 a.m. on Saturday, providing ample time for a successful lift-off.
This mission is notable for being the 24th flight for the Falcon 9’s first stage booster. This reliable booster has an impressive track record, having previously supported missions such as Crew-6, SES O3b mPOWER-B, USSF-124, BlueBird 1-5, Nusantara Lima (PSN N5), and 18 other Starlink missions.
After the stage separation, the plan is for the first stage to make a landing on the droneship “Just Read the Instructions,” which will be strategically positioned in the Atlantic Ocean, ready to receive the returning booster.
