Authorities suggest the accident occurred shortly after 9:30 a.m. when the family’s car allegedly failed to stop at an intersection, subsequently driving into the path of an oncoming truck.

Originally from Nepal, the family had settled in Armstrong Creek near Geelong. They leave behind a five-year-old daughter.

The Geelong Nepalese Association expressed their sorrow, stating that the family’s “kindness, warmth, and love will always be remembered.”
