Just over a month after confirming her new romance, Ellie Goulding has already cast her latest beau in her most sultry music video yet.

The pop star has unveiled her new single, “Destiny,” stirring up excitement among fans and marking the beginning of what is anticipated to be a powerful and transformative chapter in her career.

The music video for the track, brought to life by director Floria Sigismondi, is drawing significant attention not just for its breathtaking visuals and dreamlike settings, but also for featuring Goulding’s mostly shirtless boyfriend, Beau Minniear.

Having gone public with their relationship in September, Goulding is seen in the video intimately engaging with the handsome actor, whose face remains partially hidden throughout the four-minute feature.

Minniear seems to embody a source of intense attraction for Goulding. At one point, she photographs his semi-clad figure before moving to straddle him as the video reaches its peak.

The duo is also captured sharing a heated embrace, with Goulding running her hands over her boyfriend’s well-defined physique.

Discussing her latest track, she said: ‘Recording this was like a catharsis, it made me feel so much better – like the prize was me all along. 

‘Instead of putting my everything into these men, this song was my first feeling of straight-up escape and empowerment. 

‘When I heard the track I was in love with it. The idea of adding the choir and strings at the end was for it to become a triumphant moment of freedom like jumping off a cliff. 

‘To me it sounds like surrender. It sounds like let it happen. That’s why it is called Destiny, it sounds like what will be will be and accepting it.’ 

Since the breakdown of her marriage to her younger husband Caspar Jopling, 33, with whom she shares son four-year-old son Arthur, Goulding has enjoyed a string of romances.

The singer is thought to have met Minniear – who has had string of small acting parts  in the united States – earlier this year.

A source told The Sun ‘Ellie is into Beau and they have a lot of shared interests like exercise and art.

‘They’ve been having fun together and they certainly make for an attractive couple.’

The star briefly dated hunky surf instructor Armando Perez, 29, who she sought comfort with following the breakdown of her marriage.

They met in late 2023 in Costa Rica where the songstress had rented a swanky villa with pals after secretly separating from her partner after five years.

Ellie and her art dealer ex-husband Caspar were reportedly living separate lives for at least six months before announcing their split, despite trying to work things out for the sake of their son.

‘Their lives are very different and so it was natural for them both to eventually move on. But they still remain great friends.’
