In a tragic incident, a popular Brazilian bodybuilder who had amassed over 200,000 Instagram followers passed away this week after plummeting from her high-rise apartment in Rio de Janeiro, as reported by various sources.
The body of 39-year-old Diana Areas was discovered on Thursday outside the Unique Towers condominium, according to local news outlets referenced by the New York Post and People magazine.
Prior to the fall, authorities had visited Areas’ residence and discovered her with lacerations on her body, leading to her admission to a hospital.
Reports suggest that Areas left the hospital without official discharge.
Authorities have not released further details regarding the events leading to her untimely death.

In late September, Areas shared several photos from a recent trip with a significant other, writing, “We live and go through a lot together, as a couple. And you know what’s better? We choose each other every day! Our love doesn’t need a showcase, but these special photos couldn’t just stay in the gallery.”
Just a week ago, Areas was advertising something called the REV 90 and Summer Challenge.
