The granddaughter of billionaire Rupert Murdoch, often described as a ‘wild child,’ has parted ways with her Hollywood actor boyfriend just a few months after the couple moved in together in Los Angeles.
Charlotte Freud, 25, who comes from the illustrious media dynasty that inspired the popular HBO series “Succession,” and 23-year-old American actor Isaak Presley have reportedly called off their relationship quietly after a passionate romance that began earlier this year.
A source close to Charlotte, who ended her marriage to Luke Storey in 2023, and Isaak, confirmed the breakup, saying, “They split last month. It was a mutual decision, and they remain on good terms.”
The source continued, “This was absolutely the best decision for both of them, and Charlotte is in high spirits. In fact, just last week, she went on a date with a high-profile actor, though details are being kept under wraps for now.”
Despite their breakup, Isaak, known for his roles in Netflix’s “Fuller House” and Disney’s “Stuck in the Middle” with Jenna Ortega, showed up for Charlotte’s 25th birthday dinner at Nobu Malibu over the weekend, highlighting their amicable relationship.

The duo have remained on such good terms that Isaak, who starred in Netflix ‘s Fuller House – a Full House spin-off – and Disney’s Stuck in the Middle with Jenna Ortega , attended Charlotte’s 25th birthday dinner at Nobu Malibu at the weekend

Charlotte, who spent her youth in the UK, splitting her time between family homes in London and Suffolk, made a striking entrance at the party, donning a black mini skirt and matching halterneck top that accentuated her tattoos.
After enjoying a meal at one of LA’s trendiest restaurants, she was treated to mochi ice cream as friends including DJ Johnny Danger – real name John Goldsmith – and actress Claudia Rosier sang her happy birthday.
The outing followed another recent major milestone last month as Charlotte, who has spoken publicly of her addiction to drugs and alcohol, marked her five-year sober anniversary.
The daughter of media executive Elisabeth Murdoch and PR guru Matthew Freud – whose 13-year marriage ended in 2014 – earned her ‘wild child’ label during her teenage years.
She has said that she used ketamine so frequently during that period that peers also nicknamed her ‘K-angel’, after the drug.
Isaak has also spoken openly about addiction, revealing earlier this year that he was three years sober from pills and six months sober from alcohol and other substances.
The pair started dating in February – Charlotte’s first serious relationship since the collapse of her whirlwind marriage to British rapper Luke Storey, who is 15 years her senior.
They had married at St Mary’s Church in Westwell, Oxfordshire in 2022, with a glittering guest list worthy of a high-octane TV drama.

Media tycoon Rupert flew in amid his divorce from his fourth wife, Texan supermodel Jerry Hall, while famous family friends including film star Woody Harrelson and TV presenter Claudia Winkleman were also in attendance.
However, 14 months later, the pair announced they had split – with Charlotte revealing it was over almost immediately after saying ‘I do’.
‘We had been married for 12 hours when our whole world fell apart,’ she said at the time. ‘He relapsed on the way to our honeymoon. It wasn’t a great sign.’
Charlotte had met Luke, a self-confessed recovering drug and alcohol addict – when she was just 18 and he was 33. He encouraged her to join Narcotics Anonymous, helping to end her addiction to ketamine.

Following her divorce, Charlotte moved to Los Angeles to focus on writing musicals, where she met Isaak, who goes by the nickname ‘Cowboy’ owing to his passion for horse riding.
Friends once described the couple as ‘a good match’, with the couple rarely seen apart from one another during the course of their relationship. In the spring, they enjoyed a romantic holiday across Europe, visiting Paris, Amsterdam, Rome, Venice and the Greek islands.
News of their breakup comes as Charlotte’s half-brother Jonah, 28, made headlines last week after being spotted having dinner with pop star Lily Allen, 40, following her divorce from Stranger Things star David Harbour, 50.
Jonah, who is the son of Matthew and his first wife, Caroline Hutton – who went on to marry Princess Diana’s brother, Earl Spencer, before divorcing in 2007 – dined at the Michelin-starred Dorian in Notting Hill with the singer last Tuesday.
