Florida authorities conducted a search on Tuesday at several abandoned hotels in a bid to locate a 10-year-old girl who has been missing since June.
According to WESH, police in Osceola County focused their efforts on the Orlando Sun Resort, a location frequently visited by Gabrielle Terrelonge and her family. Terrelonge was last spotted in Orlando after disembarking from a Greyhound bus alongside her mother, 34-year-old Passha Davis, who was apprehended on November 4 on charges of child neglect.
Reports indicate that Davis is not cooperating with authorities and has not disclosed any information regarding her daughter’s current location. The child’s father reported her missing on October 29 and is actively participating in the investigation, having already undergone a polygraph test, WESH stated.
Both Terrelonge and Davis were reportedly experiencing homelessness. Authorities have announced a $5,000 reward for any information that could lead to Terrelonge’s recovery.
Gabrielle Terrelonge is described as being 4 feet, 8 inches tall, weighing approximately 100 pounds, with dark hair. At the time she was last seen, she was wearing a white t-shirt, black long pants, and white Crocs.
Passha Davis currently remains in custody with a bond set at $100,000.
The FBI is involved in the ongoing search for Terrelonge — who is considered at-risk.
Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts should call the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI or the Margate Police Department at 954-972-7111.
