It Would Be Nice If the Democrat Elites Would Stop Undermining the Republic

“Well Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?” is one of the most significant inquiries in American history. On September 17, 1787, the closing day of the Constitutional Convention, this question was posed by Elizabeth Powel to Benjamin Franklin. His famous response was, “A republic . . . if you can keep it.”

Franklin’s Caution: A Republic . . . If You Can Maintain It, American Greatness

Regrettably, it seems that the Democratic leadership is not aiding in the preservation of our Republic, a task Benjamin Franklin urged all citizens to uphold.

By this, I mean that Democratic leaders—those who hold positions of power such as legislators, the president, judges, and other officials—appear to be hindering rather than contributing to effective governance. They are actively opposing President Donald Trump and the GOP Congressional majorities through every possible means, whether through legitimate measures or by engaging in questionable legal actions or outright illegal activities.

Let’s examine this more closely.

  • Democrat lawmakers with a military or intelligence background have urged U.S.  military and intelligence personnel to defy the Trump administration’s authority in a “Not-at-All Subtle” Video.  In this video:

Although they don’t specify which directives they are alluding to, they mention those that “pit our uniformed military and intelligence community professionals against American citizens.” This is far from subtle. They are advocating for military personnel tasked with enforcing immigration laws and addressing crime in Democratic-led cities to disobey their orders. They are also likely referencing directives to target narco-terrorists and their drug-trafficking vessels, defensive strategies meant to safeguard Americans as commanded by the President and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth.

After the video was released and prompted blowback from President Trump and others, the       Democrats involved then pretended that they were in fear for their lives and contacted the Capitol police to claim that Donald Trump had seriously threatened them.

  • Two Democrat presidents spied on Republican Donald Trump, Republican Senators, the Republican House Speaker, and other Republican House members, as well as other non-Democrat/left-wing targets over the years.
  • While simultaneously inciting their left-wing Democrat base to violence over ICE crackdowns on illegal aliens, Democrat government officials are also passing laws to block or interfere with the Trump administration’s actions to deport these illegals.
  • Judges in the case against former FBI Director James Comey, who is worse than a RINO, have been attempting to throw roadblocks in front of the prosecution to prevent him from serving justice for his sleazy and allegedly illegal actions.
  • In the U.S. Senate, the Democrat senators instigated a pointless government shutdown for a record 43 days simply to cater to their demented left-wing TDS-stricken base of voters, and to protect the polling numbers of their leader, Chuck Schumer.
  • Democrat and RINO judges, also crazed with TDS, are issuing injunction after injunction – and other rogue actions – to stop anything the GOP-led federal government or other GOP-controlled governments are attempting to accomplish. Judge Boasberg alone has been a one-man army. A judge in Texas also issued a “doozy” of a dissent for the judicial decision that, at the behest of the left-wing Soros family, sought to shut down the GOP re-redistricting in Texas because it was partisan. (In other news, water is wet!) Which does not make it either unconstitutional or illegal.
  • House Democrats are preparing another Trump impeachment – after two during the last Trump term – for reasons to be determined later. The Democrats have single-handedly turned the impeachment power into a partisan joke.
