Stephen Miller, serving as Homeland Security Adviser, recently delivered a passionate critique, blaming Biden-era immigration policies for enabling a devastating terrorist attack targeting two National Guard members in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday.
The two Guardsmen are currently in critical condition following the violent assault by a gunman identified as 29-year-old Rahmanullah Lakanwal, an Afghan national.
According to CNN, Lakanwal entered the U.S. on a temporary visa issued in 2021 under the previous administration’s initiative, Operation Allies Welcome.
This program emerged in response to the chaotic withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan in August 2021. It aimed to manage the evacuation, processing, and resettlement of vulnerable Afghan nationals, including those who had cooperated with U.S. forces.
The Biden administration had assured the public that individuals admitted through this initiative had been thoroughly vetted. At the time, then-White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki stated that all entrants had undergone comprehensive screening and background checks.

Of course, the only people who bought that spin were the very reporters Psaki was speaking with and those who didn’t already realize the country was being run by someone other than the cognitively hamstrung former president.
Miller, in an interview with Fox News late Wednesday, pointed out the obvious fact that bringing in people from “the most failed societies on Earth” was a bad idea. A bad idea with a domino effect that led to National Guard members being targeted by an Afghan national terrorist initially let into the country by that same impaired president.
“We’ve never faced a threat like this. Twenty million people brought into our country from the most failed societies on earth … no vetting, no conditions, no rules,” Miller angrily (rightfully so) declared. “For four straight years, they deluged this country — and now, more blood is being spilled as a result.”

As RedState’s Sister Toldjah reports, the trail behind this terror attack leads directly to Joe Biden. Lax immigration policies, non-existent vetting processes for resettlement programs, and his being the mastermind behind the disastrous military operation that led to this man getting into the country all point a crooked finger to the former president.
President Donald Trump addressed the nation’s military on Thanksgiving Eve, something he probably didn’t anticipate having to do under these circumstances, asserting that Lakanwal “was flown in by the Biden administration” from Afghanistan, a nation he described as “a hellhole on earth.”
As a result, Trump said his administration would “re-examine every single alien who has entered our country from Afghanistan under Biden.
“We must take all necessary measures to ensure the removal of any alien from any country who does not belong here or add benefit to our country,” the President said. “If they can’t love our country, we don’t want them.”
Biden brought in countless enemies of this nation under the guise of a mass humanitarian effort. The blood spilled in the streets mere blocks away from the White House on Wednesday is all over his hands.

Editor’s Note: Thanks to President Trump, illegal immigration into our great country has virtually stopped. Despite the radical left’s lies, new legislation wasn’t needed to secure our border, just a new president.
