Investigations into a suspected shooting in Sydney’s south-west are being hampered by the victim’s unwillingness to cooperate with police.

Late last night, Fairfield Hospital became a scene of concern when a 43-year-old man arrived with a gunshot wound to his leg, prompting police intervention. The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain shrouded in mystery, as the victim has not disclosed details about the incident or identified any suspects.

Following his initial treatment at Fairfield, the man was transferred to another facility for further medical care. This transfer underscores the seriousness of his condition and the urgency with which medical staff responded to his injuries.
