In an exclusive reveal by Gimme Shelter, it has been disclosed that renowned New York socialite and author Jean Shafiroff, along with her husband, Martin Shafiroff, an investment adviser, have acquired a magnificent, contemporary waterfront residence in Manalapan, Florida. This high-profile transaction, conducted off-market, closed at approximately $21 million. Manalapan is a prestigious enclave nestled between Delray and Palm Beach, known for its billionaire residents.
This elite neighborhood has been home to notable figures such as Oracle’s billionaire Larry Ellison, who briefly held the title of the world’s richest person in September, as well as motivational speaker Tony Robbins, musician Billy Joel, and famed real estate developer Joe Farrell.
The Shafiroffs’ newly purchased estate is located on Churchill Way. Initially, it was listed with an asking price of around $25 million.
Spanning an impressive 15,300 square feet, this two-story glass marvel features six bedrooms and eight and a half bathrooms, embodying both luxury and comfort.
Jean Shafiroff shared with Gimme, “It’s extremely modern and high-tech. I’ve never seen a house like this in southern Florida, and it comes fully furnished with extensive security features.”
In addition to their latest acquisition, the Shafiroffs maintain residences in New York, Southampton, and Jupiter. However, they intend to put their Jupiter property on the market later this year.
Their new Manalapan abode boasts high ceilings, a wine tasting room, a large chef’s kitchen
and lots of walk-in closet space. Outside, there’s a pool, 250 feet of Intracoastal waterfront and serene views.
The listing broker was Mercedes Foster of Real Broker LLC, while the Shafiroffs were represented by Jason Haverkamp, of William Raveis Real Estate.
