Search Continues for Pregnant Woman Whose Phone Was Found on Road

Rebecca Park, anticipating her baby’s arrival, decides to head to the hospital on November 2 after experiencing contractions. Despite her due date being set for November 18, the medical examination reveals she is not yet in labor. With this reassurance, Rebecca leaves the hospital and continues her day.

Later, Rebecca picks up her biological mother to accompany her on some errands. In preparation for her upcoming motherhood, she carries $2,000 in cash, an inheritance she received from family members to help her prepare for her new responsibilities.

Meanwhile, Richard Lee Falor, Rebecca’s fiancé, grows increasingly concerned as his attempts to reach her via calls and text messages go unanswered. Aware that Rebecca has been out shopping with her mother, Falor contacts Cortney Bartholomew, hoping to locate her.

Bartholomew informs Falor that she last saw Rebecca entering a black sedan with tinted windows shortly before midnight. The uneasy feeling grows, and Falor wastes no time in reporting Rebecca missing to the Wexford County Sheriff’s office, initiating a search for the missing 22-year-old expectant mother.

The urgency of the situation is heightened by Rebecca’s advanced pregnancy, as she is 38 weeks along. As the search progresses, Michigan State Police discover a critical clue: Rebecca’s phone is found discarded by the roadside near her mother’s residence, intensifying the mystery surrounding her disappearance.

Michigan State Police find Rebecca’s phone alongside the road near her mother’s house.

On a trail directly behind the home of Rebecca’s mother, Cortney Bartholomew, a volunteer finds the body of Rebecca Park.

Investigators are not releasing information about the condition of the body or if a newborn baby has been found.
