Democrats on the US House Oversight Committee released photos from Jeffrey Epstein‘s estate on Friday showing the many powerful figures in the late sex trafficker’s orbit, including Donald Trump, former US President Bill Clinton, Steve Bannon, Bill Gates, Richard Branson and others.

Numerous men have been previously associated with Epstein, but recent photographs could provide additional insights into the depth of these connections.

Taken collectively, the 19 images – which the Democrats on the committee said came from Epstein’s estate – reinforce that the financier was previously tied to a wide variety of powerful and high-profile people whose ties to him are now under significant scrutiny.

In a separate development, a new law passed by Congress last month mandates that the Justice Department must release all Epstein-related files it holds by December 19.

Leading the effort to bypass GOP leadership and push this legislation was Republican Representative Thomas Massie, who cautioned that failing to meet the upcoming deadline would constitute a legal violation by the DOJ.

“It’s a crime if they don’t. It’s not like they’re in contempt of Congress because they didn’t respond to a subpoena. This is a new law with criminal implications if they don’t follow it,” the Kentucky Republican said.

Despite this warning, Massie expressed optimism about the DOJ’s increased access to grand jury materials.

On Friday, Garcia urged the administration to release any available information immediately instead of waiting until the deadline, highlighting that some of the photos are “incredibly disturbing.”

“At this moment, we plan to insist that the president disclose the files, and we’ll monitor his actions on the 19th. However, I reiterate, some of these images are genuinely unsettling,” he stated.

And I know we’ve put some out today. There are many others. And some of the other photos that we did not put out today are incredibly disturbing.”
