Luigi Mangione, currently on trial for the murder of UnitedHealthcare’s CEO, Brian Thompson, is reportedly maintaining an exemplary demeanor while incarcerated.

“He’s quite polite and follows all the regulations. He’s not causing any disruptions,” remarked attorney Arthur Aidala, who, although not representing Mangione, works with another inmate at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center.

According to Aidala, an inmate mentioned, “Luigi showed me the ropes.”

“He’s providing guidance to fellow prisoners,” Aidala added.

In his time at the facility, Mangione has been utilizing one of the visitor area booths equipped with computers, enabling inmates to examine legal documents.

“He’s very much involved in his own legal defense,” Aidala noted.
