Katie Price's son reveals how she's REALLY doing after weight loss

Katie Price’s son has stepped forward to share insights into how the former glamour model is truly faring behind the scenes following her recent and noticeable weight loss.

The 47-year-old, known for her vibrant public persona, raised eyebrows when she appeared at TOWIE star Yazmin Oukhellou’s store launch in Hertfordshire this past Saturday. Attendees observed that she required assistance from friends while descending a staircase, a sight that fueled concern among her fans.

Sporting brown lace leggings, stilettos, and a bomber jacket, all accented by diamanté sunglasses, Katie’s public appearance marked a significant moment just three months after she disclosed a hospital stay related to her ‘dramatic’ and ‘unexplained’ weight reduction.

Back in September, the mother-of-five reached out to her followers on Snapchat, revealing that she was in the process of consulting medical professionals about her diminishing physique, which had become a source of unease.

Adding to her health concerns, Katie announced plans earlier this month to quit vaping in the upcoming year, citing its association with ‘rare and irreversible lung disease.’ This decision reflects heightened sensitivity due to her mother Amy’s struggle with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.

Despite these worries, Katie’s eldest son, Junior, aged 20, has reassured fans that she is ‘doing great.’ In a conversation with the Daily Mail, he affirmed that the family dynamic, including his father, Peter Andre, aged 52, is currently the ‘best’ it has ever been.

With the festive season approaching, Junior revealed he will split his time between both parents, spending Christmas Eve with his father Pete before seeing Katie on Christmas Day

With the festive season approaching, Junior revealed he will split his time between both parents, spending Christmas Eve with his father Pete before seeing Katie on Christmas Day

Speaking exclusively, Junior said: ‘Well, to be honest, people don’t know her like we know her. She is doing great, she’s so loving, and we love her so much. We can’t wait to see her over Christmas. I am literally round her house all the time.

‘People are always going to say what they want to say about both my parents, about my family, but at the end of the day they don’t live my life, do you know what I mean?

‘They don’t know what’s going behind closed doors and to be honest, I am in the best place with my family that I’ve ever been.

‘People can say and think what they like, but they don’t actually know. They are hearing it from me that we are all great and probably the best we have ever been.’

With the festive season approaching, Junior revealed he will split his time between both parents, spending Christmas Eve with his father Pete and stepmother Emily, along with their children Amelia, 11, Theo, nine, and one-year-old Arabella, before seeing Katie on Christmas Day afternoon.

He will also celebrate with his many siblings, including Harvey, 23, whose father is former footballer Dwayne York, and Jett, 12, and Bunny, 11, from Katie’s marriage to Kieran Hayler.

Despite his parents’ long-running feud, which reached a peak earlier this year when Katie accused Pete of ‘banning’ her from filming scenes with daughter Princess, 18, for her ITV2 reality series, Junior insisted the drama has not affected his relationship with his family.

He said: ‘My parents are my parents and I’m their child. Luckily, I have a loving and strong relationship with both of them, which is great. Not everyone has that.

‘I get to spend Christmas with both my parents and the positive is I basically have two Christmases and two lots of presents.’

Opening up about buying gifts for his mother, Junior added: ‘My mum has everything, so she’s hard to buy for, but it’s all about the thought and the sentiment. I know my mum and what will make her emotional – probably better than anyone, along with my siblings.’

The star, who will host next year’s UK Top Influencer Awards, says he’s long been used to dividing his time between his parents, who divorced in 2009 when he was just four.

He said: ‘My tradition for Christmas Day, me and Princess, we always split it between the two households, my mum and my dad.

‘We alternate and this year we are staying Christmas Eve at my dad’s house and waking up with them and then probably about midday we will go over to my mum’s house, and we will spend the rest of Christmas Day there. Boxing Day is just a chilled day.

‘Our tradition for Christmas is literally just family, food, music, and presents; we always have Christmas music playing in the background, the fireplace is on and matching PJs.’

Junior’s relationship with his sister Princess was a key part of her reality series, which also highlighted her closeness with Pete and Emily.

However, viewers will no longer see the Mysterious Girl singer on The Princess Diaries. In November, the Daily Mail revealed that Pete and Emily will not appear in series two and three, currently being filmed, following the fallout the show caused with Katie.

After Katie publicly criticised her ex-husband and his long-time manager Claire Powell for excluding her from the project and any of Princess’s work, Pete posted a statement on Instagram confirming that the children he shares with Katie have been in his sole custody since 2018.

Now, Junior’s role in the series is set to grow, supporting his sister as Pete steps back from filming.

He said: ‘Obviously, without spoiling it we are sharing more of our bond and how we are growing up, and this series we show a little bit more of my life too.

‘It’s mainly around Princess, and what she’s doing. But we show our loving relationship, which we’ve had a lot of good feedback about, but that’s just how we are.

‘People say we have such a lovely brotherly, sisterly bond and it’s the way we have been brought up, around a lot of love. Our family is so important and we project that.

‘We are siblings, and we do argue and annoy each other, but that is purely sibling rivalry. We love each other very much and The Princess Diaries shows all aspects of our relationship.’

Junior moved out of his father Pete’s house, where he had lived since he was 13, after turning 19.

He now has his own place with long-term girlfriend Jasmine and is learning firsthand how challenging managing life and finances can be as a young adult.

‘Me and Jasmine have lived alone now for months. Life really slaps you in the face when you turn 18,’ he said.

‘I was all excited to turn 18 as a kid so I could do all these things and then suddenly you are slapped on the face with responsibilities, and you just want to be a kid again and as you get older it gets worse and worse.

‘I’m 20 now, I’m like wow, I’m not a kid anymore, this is real life, and I have to keep it going, I have to feed myself.

‘I have always been independent and as much as I like my family, I like my own space.

‘When you’re in a relationship as well I feel it’s important to have your own space and that’s what I wanted. It benefits our relationship, living together, and in our own space.’

Junior will take to the stage at The Assembly Rooms in Newcastle on May 6, 2026, presenting the celebratory evening in honour of the country’s most successful and popular influencers.

Speaking about the upcoming gig, Junior said he hopes being front and centre will show he’s ready to take on more presenting work.

He said: ‘I love presenting and it’s something I want to do alongside my other passions and dreams as I grow up. I am confident in big crowds, and I love performing on stage doing music so presenting an award ceremony, I am in front of a big crowd.

‘I’m a social person, I love meeting new people and having a good day and rewarding people, I want to make sure everyone has a good night. I’m doing it with my lovely girlfriend Jasmine, which will be good that she’s by my side doing it as well.’

Christopher Henderson, Managing Director of UK Top Influencer, expressed his excitement at having Junior at the helm, adding: ‘With Junior and Jasmine hosting, and some of the UK’s biggest online names attending, the 2026 UK Top Influencer Awards are shaping up to be the most glamorous and talked-about event in the creator calendar.’
