The Carter County Landfill in Elizabethton, Tennessee, is set to partially resume operations next week, following a fire that temporarily halted its services. According to a statement from Mayor Patty Woodby’s office, starting next week, the facility will be open to receive regular household waste. However, it will still not be equipped to handle brush, construction debris, or other non-household materials as recovery efforts continue.
