Pop star Pink spent New Year’s Eve in a hospital, where she underwent surgery to have two new discs inserted into her neck. The singer shared her experience on social media this past Wednesday.

The “So What” singer, 46, shared a photo from a hospital bed on Instagram with a bandage on the left side of her neck.

“I end the year giving reverence to, paying attention to, and to fixing my body. It may not be a fancy face lift, but I am getting two new shiny discs in my neck,” she captioned the post. “A new scar, a new reminder, that I appreciate this vessel that I have and use it for all it’s worth. Rock ’n’ roll is a contact sport.”

Known off-stage as Alecia Beth Moore, Pink revealed that while she was in the operating room, her family was out snowboarding and ringing in the year 2026. She is married to Carey Hart, a former motocross racer, with whom she shares two children.

“I’m convinced that 2026 will be a better year because I’ve decided to make it so,” Pink stated. “I wish everyone could have the opportunity to make that decision for themselves as well.”

This isn’t the first time Pink has faced health challenges. She previously underwent hip surgery in 2021, which required a long recovery period. However, she did not disclose what specifically prompted her recent neck surgery.

Reflecting on the past year, she remarked, “I am leaving all my pain in 2025. It was a challenging year for everyone, from deeply devastating moments to minor annoyances. Yet, amidst all that, there was also significant beauty.”
