Speculation is swirling around Kate Gosselin and her rumored romance with Steve Neild, her ex-bodyguard turned partner. Observers are questioning whether the couple has secretly exchanged vows.

In a TikTok video shared on Wednesday, the former star of “Kate Plus 8” was seen sporting what looked like a wedding band on her left hand. The video captured her browsing through a clothing store in New Zealand, accompanied by Neild, who is a native of the country.

‘Go shopping on Waiheke Island with us!’ she wrote in the caption.

The sparkling ring was complemented by silver bangles on her wrist, paired with diamond stud earrings, adding a touch of elegance to her ensemble.

Embracing the Southern Hemisphere’s summer climate, Gosselin, 50, was dressed in a floral blue dress, perfect for her shopping expedition in search of similarly breezy attire.

Recently cleared to start walking again following a painful leg injury and subsequent surgery, Gosselin navigated the store using crutches and wore flip-flops for comfort.

The sight of the ring on her ring finger did not go unnoticed by fans, who reacted with eager curiosity and excitement.

‘Wedding ring perhaps!???’ one follower wrote, while another echoed, ‘Kate that ring’ followed by two heart emojis.

A third fan wrote, ‘Ma’am that ring is gorgeous!!’

A fourth chimed in, ‘Whooaaaa. Did you get married? I am so happy that you are happy.’

Gosselin answered the question by writing, ‘No lol that’s just my regular jewelry.’

The mom-of-eight also shared in the video that she spent ‘over $300 – New Zealand dollars’ – about $170.

‘Later, we got out of that shop and my GoFundMe, Steve, treated me to a few items, but he also got a t-shirt and a pair of shorts,’ she said.

‘It’s really rare that he buys himself any clothing, so I’m really happy and proud of him.’

In November, Gosselin made the relationship Instagram official and confirmed the man she was dating was her former bodyguard who worked for her when she was still married to Jon Gosselin; pictured in March 2010

She added: ‘Now we’re going to the beach!’

Back in September, Gosselin revealed she had a boyfriend in a TikTok Q&A video and that she’d been dating him for ‘a little over a year’ and was ‘super, super happy.’

In November, she made the relationship Instagram official and confirmed the man was her former bodyguard who worked for her when she was still married to Jon Gosselin.

The former couple split in 2009 after a decade of marriage, and Gosselin’s ex-husband insinuated her relationship with Neild was a factor in the divorce.

‘Guess who really ruined the marriage,’ the 48-year-old TV personality posted on Instagram.

Their son Collin, 21, claimed on his Instagram Stories that his mom had an affair with Neild during the marriage breakdown ‘way back in 2009,’ and ‘for years would share hotel rooms with him while we went on family vacations.

‘I feel very strongly on the matter of cheating and then blaming someone else for your own actions,’ he went on. ‘Everyone says my dad and I are hung up on my mom. We are not. We have suffered the damage of a narcissist and cried together.’

Meanwhile, last month Gosselin got the go-ahead from her doctor to carefully begin walking again following her painful leg injury that required surgery in September.

She posted a video of herself slowly making her way towards an elevator with the assistance of crutches after her doctor’s appointment.

The video began with Gosselin declaring: ‘It’s walking day! It finally came. I’m so excited I can’t even stand it.’

‘I have to start at 25 percent, and then 50 percent, 75 percent, 100 percent,’ she said. ‘So you won’t see me really walking immediately, but I’m excited.’

Per the New York Daily News, Gosselin injured her leg after her dog Meika accidentally ran into her during a game of fetch.
