A 17-year-old has been charged with the murder of a fellow teenager, who was fatally stabbed near his residence in Queens, police reported Sunday. The suspect, whose identity remains undisclosed due to his age, was apprehended Saturday night and faces charges for the murder of Josue Argudo, also 17, in the Woodhaven area shortly before 3:45 p.m. on Friday.

In a desperate plea for assistance, Josue reached out to his aunt, who rushed to his side, holding his hand as he succumbed to his injuries, according to a witness who spoke with the Daily News. Despite the efforts of a bystander who attempted CPR, and the rapid response by medics who transported him to Jamaica Hospital, Josue could not be revived.

The attack occurred merely three blocks from Josue’s home, where a group of young individuals confronted him near 76th Street and 86th Avenue around 3:43 p.m., according to police and law enforcement sources. Though Josue attempted to flee, his assailants pursued and fatally wounded him by stabbing him in the neck, sources added.

“They stabbed me,” Josue reportedly told his aunt, as per an eyewitness who preferred to remain anonymous. A video obtained by the Daily News captures one of the attackers wielding an object in his right hand and repeatedly striking another teen along 76th Street, targeting the head, chest, and neck.

“They stabbed me,” Josue told his aunt, according to one witness who wished not to be named.

Video obtained by the Daily News shows one of the attackers, who is holding something in his right hand, chasing another teen down 76th St. and striking him with it several times, including around the head and chest and in the neck.

The two youths then appear to talk to each other, and the victim briefly takes out his phone and puts it back in his pocket before the attacker, dressed in black and wearing a mask and hood, walks off. Another video then shows the teen victim slump down onto the sidewalk on 76th St.

Police released photos of two individuals wanted for questioning Saturday, and arrested the 17-year-old suspect Saturday night.

He awaits arraignment in Queens Criminal Court.
