In December, Dan Bongino revealed he would be stepping down from his position as deputy director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, sparking widespread curiosity among his followers about a potential comeback to his well-loved podcast and radio show. Dan himself hinted at a return, creating anticipation among his audience when he mentioned, as reported by RedState’s Sister Toldjah, that there would be “something for you soon” concerning his show.

The wait is over, as it’s been confirmed that Dan Bongino will make his comeback on February 2 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern. This exciting news was shared on Monday morning through the Bongino Report X account.

With this announcement, it has been clarified that while his show will be back as a podcast and livestream, he will not be making a return to traditional radio broadcasts. This development has addressed questions about the fate of the coveted 12:00 p.m. ET to 3:00 p.m. ET radio slot, which was famously held by Rush Limbaugh for many years. Following Limbaugh’s passing, Dan took over this slot with a show broadcasted by hundreds of stations. After Dan’s transition to the FBI, Vince Coglianese filled this key time slot.

From the announcement:

Conservative commentator, bestselling author, and former FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino will return to broadcasting on February 2, 2026, with a brand-new two-hour daily program airing weekdays from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM ET.

The show will be exclusively live-streamed on Rumble, and distributed on-demand on all major audio podcast platforms, bringing Bongino’s unique insider perspective back to his loyal audience following a year of government service. Westwood One will serve as the exclusive sales partner for The Dan Bongino Show.

So this means his show is returning as a podcast and livestream, but he will not be returning to the radio airwaves. There had been some questions about what might happen to the coveted 12:00 p.m. ET to 3:00 p.m. ET radio time slot held for years by Rush Limbaugh. After Rush’s death, Dan launched a radio show that was carried by hundreds of stations during that time slot; following Dan’s move to the FBI, his slot was taken over by Vince Coglianese.
