An early morning accident involving a lone vehicle has led to significant slowdowns on I-81 northbound in Sullivan County, Tennessee. As per the TDOT SmartWay map, the incident, which was initially reported just shy of 4 a.m., is causing heavy traffic congestion as of 5:45 a.m. News Channel 11 is awaiting further details from the Tennessee Highway Patrol regarding the situation.
