White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt has launched a tirade at a journalist who asked about recent US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) conduct.
The journalist asked Leavitt about comments made by Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem after an ICE agent shot and killed Renee Good last week.
Niall Stanage, a White House columnist for The Hill, questioned assertions from Noem and other members of the Trump administration that ICE is doing “everything correctly”.

Leavitt has accused Stanage of being a left-wing activist masquerading as a journalist.

She asserted that ICE agents are dedicated to enhancing national safety and recommended Stanage turn his attention to innocent Americans who have been victims of crimes committed by ‘illegal aliens’ in the U.S.

“Shame on those in the media who have a skewed and biased perspective while claiming to be impartial journalists,” Leavitt remarked.

During the same press conference, she sidestepped a question posed by The Independent regarding a recent remark by President Donald Trump about potentially canceling elections.

Earlier this week, Trump suggested to Reuters that the U.S. might as well forgo the mid-term elections in 2026, although the White House later clarified that his comment was meant in jest.
