Federal Agent's Finger Bitten Off by Alleged Minneapolis Rioter

In the wake of a chaotic night in Minneapolis, a federal agent reportedly lost a finger during street riots that erupted after an armed man’s fatal encounter with law enforcement.

According to recent reports, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) revealed that the agent discharged their weapon in self-defense when an individual approached U.S. Border Patrol officers wielding a 9mm semiautomatic pistol.

A photo shared on social media, depicting the recovered firearm, accompanied a DHS statement suggesting that the suspect had intentions of instigating violence against law enforcement.

McLaughlin confirmed that the injured agent is unlikely to regain use of the severed finger.

In related news, Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes recently expressed her skepticism regarding the legitimacy of ICE personnel as true law enforcement officials.

She emphasized her point by using air quotes around the term “officers,” indicating her belief that they do not constitute authentic law enforcement.

She specifically put the word “officers” in quotation marks, saying, “I put that in air quotes because I don’t think they are real law enforcement.”

Mayes discussed Arizona’s “Stand Your Ground” law as well: “You have these masked, federal officers with very little identification — sometimes no identification — wearing plain clothes and masks,” she said, “and we have a ‘Stand Your Ground’ law that says if you reasonably believe your life is in danger and you’re in your house or in your car or on your property, that you can defend yourself with lethal force.”
