On Saturday morning, amidst freezing temperatures, three individuals were discovered dead on the streets of Manhattan and Brooklyn, according to police reports.
At approximately 7:45 a.m., officers found the body of a 67-year-old man outside near Third Avenue and East 35th Street in Murray Hill, where he was pronounced dead on the scene.
Roughly two hours later, around 9:25 a.m., the body of a 64-year-old woman was discovered outside a residence near Remsen Avenue and Glenwood Road in Canarsie. Simultaneously, another unidentified man was found deceased near Warren and Smith Streets in Cobble Hill.
The city’s medical examiner will determine the official causes of death for all three individuals.
All of the deceased were homeless, with no indications of trauma, as reported by PIX 11.
Authorities have not suggested any criminal activity was involved, and no arrests have been made in connection to these incidents.

Once the snow comes in — with forecasts predicting as much as a foot — the white stuff is expected to stick around for a while as temperatures are expected to remain below freezing throughout the week.
A “Code Blue” cold weather alert was in effect as New York City Emergency Management said outreach teams will be helping connect the homeless to shelters amid the dangerous deep freeze.
“No one who is homeless and seeking shelter in New York City during a Code Blue will be denied. New Yorkers who see individuals they believe to be experiencing homelessness and in need should contact 311 via phone or mobile app and request outreach assistance,” NYCEM said in a statement on X.
