An intense scene unfolded in Washington state when a quick-thinking deputy came to the rescue of a mail truck driver trapped in a fiery crash. The incident, which occurred in the community of Parkland, about 40 miles south of Seattle, involved a collision between a mail truck and a white sedan at approximately 12:10 p.m., according to reports from the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office.

Upon arriving at the crash site, the first deputy was confronted with a daunting sight—the mail truck was engulfed in flames. Bodycam footage reveals the urgency of the situation, as the flames threatened the injured driver still inside the vehicle.

Recognizing the immediate danger, the deputy dashed toward the blazing truck. Demonstrating remarkable bravery, he managed to pull the driver to safety, away from the intense heat and flames.

A passerby, witnessing this dramatic roadside rescue, jumped in to assist the deputy, attempting to douse the flames. Despite their efforts, the fire persisted until firefighters arrived on the scene to extinguish it completely.
