“Australia Day offers a wonderful chance for us to unite and honor the unique qualities that make our nation the finest place on earth,” Albanese remarked in an interview with The Australian.

He further expressed, “Whether you’re Australian by birth or by choice, whether your ancestors have cherished and protected this land for 65,000 years, or whether you’re joining our Australian family at citizenship ceremonies today, pledging your loyalty to our people, values, and democracy, we are all fortunate to call Australia home.”
