RALEIGH, N.C. — A couple has become the talk of the town after being seen elegantly dancing amidst falling snow in downtown Raleigh.
Captured just after midnight by Ann Win Anh Nguyen, the enchanting scene features the couple gracefully spinning on a deserted street, blanketed by snow.
Nguyen, observing from her apartment window, initially speculated that it might be a proposal. She decided to share the captivating video with her friends at Raleigh Downtown. The footage quickly gained traction, garnering over 50,000 likes within a day.
The video inspired an outpouring of goodwill on social media, with users and local businesses offering cakes, dinners, and engagement photo sessions, all eager to uncover the identity of the romantic pair.
After some enthusiastic sleuthing by the online community, the couple was identified and shared their own video from street level, providing a closer look at their whimsical dance. They clarified that they are already married, describing the experience as something “like in movies…but it’s real.”
Preferring to remain out of the spotlight, the couple declined any interviews but conveyed their appreciation for the overwhelming affection shown by the community, all stemming from a simple video capturing a magical moment.
Nguyen said she was just glad to have witnessed it. The ice-cold scene, now frozen in time, has warmed countless hearts.
