Noel Edmonds seems to be embracing a holistic lifestyle that rivals that of Charlotte Church, as he now resides in an expansive, multi-million-dollar estate in New Zealand.

The 77-year-old TV presenter, known for his quirky fashion including mismatched shoes, moved to New Zealand with his wife Liz, 56, back in 2019. Their impressive 800-acre property boasts an intriguing feature called an ‘energy bowl,’ which collects ‘positive water’ from rainfall.

Meanwhile, Charlotte Church and her husband Jonathan Powell embarked on a similar journey in 2021 when they purchased the £1.5 million Rhydoldog House in Wales. The couple transformed it into an eco-friendly sanctuary with eight rooms that can host up to 16 guests.

Opening its doors in 2023, the 39-year-old singer described the retreat as a place for visitors to ‘reconnect with themselves and the natural world.’

The estate features a helicopter pad, a 200-year-old barn, and amenities including a hot tub, plunge pool, and outdoor cinema spread across 47 acres.

In addition, the retreat offers a Healing Room where guests can engage in activities such as movement, yoga, sound healing, and group sessions. Visitors can also explore various gardens, a Potting Shed, a Japanese Tea House, and enjoy a Waterfall Shower.

Cycling, archery, foraging, hiking and strength and conditioning lessons are also available as well as a wide range of alternative spiritual awakenings throughout the year, including ‘witchcraft’ sessions that are personally managed by the Welsh star.

But Noel appears to be giving Charlotte a run for her money these days, with River Haven estate, which features a restaurant, a vineyard, a pub and a wellness centre.

The two stars have both embraced holism and wellness, with the Deal Or No Deal star recently showing fans a glimpse of his energy garden, a round patch of ground surrounded by rocks with an ‘energy bowl’ in the centre.

After a day of pouring rain, he delightedly revealed how the bowl had filled up with rainwater, exclaiming: ‘My energy bowl has flooded! Oh my word!

‘It’s bubbling away here. That is a lot of positive water! Wow, incredible. Absolutely amazing.’

Last year, Noel claimed that the secret to his impressive health regime was what he called ‘Tranquil Power’.

The TV star sent fans into a frenzy after showcasing his surprisingly ripped physique in a pair of swimming trunks after being named Torso Of The Week by Heat magazine.

And taking to Instagram, he  joked with followers: ‘So many of you have asked how do I get the body of a 76 year old?

‘Step 1: Turn 76. Step 2: Tranquil Power (see my Positivity Formula on Noel Edmonds Kiwi Adventure)’

He then teased: ‘If that fails bribe the lighting guy!’ before falling into his outdoor pool.

Speaking to The Sun, Noel explained: ‘The exercise I do, I call tranquil power. It’s about quiet and slow. You hold it [the weight], you feel the muscle burn and then let go.’

Later discussing his morning routine he added: ‘I normally have a warm shower in the morning and wash it off with a cold shower.

‘And then a sauna, infra red. It’s proven science and very good for you.’

In the past Noel has revealed he also practises meditation, exercising slowly in darkness while listening to electronic pulses for an hour a week.

He also explained he lies on a £2,300 electro-magnetic mat for 15 minutes a day, which he claims helped cure his cancer.

In terms of diet, Noel is believed to avoid red meat and maintains an alkaline diet which aims to balance the pH of your body.

Alkaline foods include fresh fruits, nuts, seeds, beans, and non-starchy vegetables, rather than more acidic foods like meat, cheese, eggs, grains, and processed foods.

While the presenter also believes in cosmic ordering after he was given a book about it by his reflexologist.

He said that four of six wishes he wrote down and offered to the cosmos then came true, including his wish to front another hit show – which was Deal Or No Deal.

‘You’ll think I’ve gone away with the fairies, but its fantastic!’ he said. He wrote a book, Positively Happy: Cosmic Ways To Change Your Life, in 2006.

He explained: ‘To me cosmic order is all about being a positive person who takes charge of your own life.

‘You have to make conscious decisions to go out and make things happen for you.

‘It’s not hocus-pocus New Age stuff. You don’t have to wear beads and smoke exotic substances to be able to get into it.’

After quitting the UK in 2019, the couple first launched a network of radio stations near Auckland before moving to Ngatimoti three years later.

But in 2023, the £15m estate sparked a furious row with residents who accused him of ‘colonising’ their idyllic village.

And after leaving the UK behind, last year Noel purchased a home in the Isle of Man, with plans to spend time both there and in New Zealand.

He told Manx Radio in August: ‘I came for the very first time three years ago, and when you consider I lived in the UK all my life and I knew where it was geographically, I don’t know why I didn’t come before.

‘I have purchased a property on the island, and I intend to spend some of the year here, but my principal home is New Zealand.’

‘What’s drawn me to the Smile of Man… you’re bloody proud of the island, you’re proud of the community, and across the water there [in the UK], you don’t get that anymore,’ he added.

While fans are frequently entertained by the telly legend’s funny and often eccentric behaviour, since he adopted a new way of life.

He has been spotted on multiple occasions wearing completely odd shoes, with seemingly no reason for the bizarre choice of footwear.

In May 2024 stunned fans flooded Facebook after spotting Noel wearing non-matching shoes as he took a trip to the island Laxey Beach Stop Cafe.

He could be seen with a light brown lace-up boot on his right foot and a slip-on dark brown boot on his left, with fans concluding the star must have ‘got dressed in the dark’.

However, last year he was once again seen wearing odd shoes as he danced alongside a statute of his doppelgängers the Bee Gees on the Isle of Man in June.

Poking fun at his resemblance to the singing siblings, he once again wore different boots on either foot as he danced to Stayin’ Alive.

And fans once again rushed to the comments after noticing the Deal Or No Deal star was still sporting the look.

They wrote:  ‘He’s got odd shoes on!’: ‘I do really love him! Just noticed the shoes though’: ‘Read a long while ago that he always wears odd shoes’: ‘He’s got 2 pairs of those’: ‘I see that and though na he wouldn’t’:
