The MAGA wars laid bare: Influencer exposes the 'trashy' fights exploding in secret... who is really behind them

Conservative podcaster Jayme Leagh Franklin has pointed out that her harshest critics are liberal women, not men. She accuses the left of hypocrisy, arguing that while they profess to support all women, they often launch fierce attacks on conservative ones.

Franklin, a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, who served in Donald Trump’s first White House and now hosts the podcast “Sincerely American,” believes the ridicule faced by women like Kristi Noem, derisively dubbed ‘ICE Barbie,’ reveals the contradictions within progressive feminism.

“It’s rare for men to criticize me. The harshest comments come from other women,” Franklin shared with the Daily Mail. “Women can be incredibly harsh towards each other, with liberal women being particularly critical of their conservative counterparts.”

She expressed particular displeasure over the derogatory comments aimed at Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, following increased ICE actions in Minnesota.

“It’s ironic when the left attacks Kristi Noem or other female members of Trump’s administration or any conservative women. These are the same people who claim to be feminists,” Franklin remarked.

On social media, critics of the president’s immigration policies target Noem with the nickname ‘ICE Barbie,’ often mocking her appearance.

‘It’s obviously from jealousy, because Kristi Noem looks amazing, and you can be beautiful and brilliant and also a hardworking person,’ she said.

She dismissed the left’s attempt to stereotype MAGA women as ‘bimbos’ who simply follow their husbands or bosses.

‘They think that we’re just like women who follow exactly what our husbands say, that we don’t have any political thoughts of our own. That could not be further from the truth,’ she said. ‘Conservative women are the most opinionated and passionate people you will meet.’

Franklin launched her podcast with friend Camryn Kinsey as part of an expanding media profile that began with The Conservateur, a platform for women covering culture, fashion, faith and politics.

She kicked off the new year at the White House press briefing in the special New Media seat, created for rotating conservative influencers, where she congratulated press secretary Karoline Leavitt on her second pregnancy.

Leavitt’s lifestyle resonates with her audience, Franklin explained—a young working mom who didn’t postpone motherhood for her career.

She called Trump’s second administration ‘the most pro-family we’ve seen in decades,’ crediting chief of staff Susie Wiles for creating a pro-family culture in the West Wing.

When young Trump-supporting conservatives first flocked to Washington during his initial term, many were single and new to the political scene. Four years later, they’re back—often married with young children.

‘I see them now as young families that met through the whole Trump world. A lot of people have created families through that,’ Franklin said.

Part of that pro-family culture includes ongoing efforts to promote health and wellness.

Earlier this month, Franklin visited the White House to interview Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr and Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins about the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) movement.

Growing up in California, her family prioritized health—now as a mother, she’s made it central to her life. Her circle of young conservative mothers are equally focused on the issue raising their own children.

Franklin believes MAHA should attract people of any political stripe.

‘I actually believe health is the number one issue in the country,’ she said. ‘If you have a sick country, you have a weak country.’

Franklin views the women on Trump’s staff and in his cabinet as role models, and Trump as an excellent boss for empowering them.

She celebrated their diverse career and political backgrounds—from South Dakota’s Noem, a rancher-turned-governor, to Hawaii’s Tulsi Gabbard, a former Democrat, veteran, and yoga enthusiast, to former wrestling executive Linda McMahon.

‘It really shows how much he values diversity of thought, which is so important,’ she said.

She called many mainstream female media figures hypocrites for criticizing or ignoring conservative women.

‘They claim to want to empower and uplift women, but only liberal women,’ she said.

Franklin launched her podcast as influential conservative media figures have turned on each other. Last year, Daily Wire’s Ben Shapiro denounced podcasters Candace Owens, Tucker Carlson and Megyn Kelly, who in turn accused Shapiro of trying to ‘cancel’ them.

But Franklin has no interest in the petty online fighting.

She emphasized her podcast would respect all women and their freedom of speech, despite differing political views, and said she has zero interest in influencer fights.

‘Getting into trashy fights does not make this country better. I want to be a uniter, not a divider. I just don’t engage in that negativity.’
