Meghan Markle delighted fans with an adorable Valentine’s Day snapshot of Prince Harry and their daughter, providing the clearest view yet of little Lilibet’s face.
The Duchess of Sussex shared a heartwarming image on Instagram, capturing her beaming husband as he holds their 4-year-old daughter aloft, with Lilibet joyfully clutching a cluster of red balloons.
At 44, Meghan has been meticulous about keeping her children’s faces out of the spotlight, often sharing photos where only the backs of Archie and Lilibet’s heads are visible.
This recent post, where the social media-savvy mom affectionately referred to her children and Archie as her ‘forever Valentines,’ offers one of the most revealing glimpses of Lilibet to date.
The image quickly captivated fans, with many commenting on Lilibet’s red hair, noting its resemblance to her father’s, and praising her beauty, likening it to Harry’s.
“Love this picture! A dad showing a girl that she’s loved. He’s the first to show her what love means,” one admirer shared on Facebook.
The adorable photo comes exactly five years after Meghan’s Valentine’s Day announcement that she was pregnant with Lilibet.
The Sussexes made their announcement with a candid black and white image of a barefooted Harry resting his hand on Meghan’s head as she lay in his lap underneath a tree.

Meghan rarely shares pictures of her two young children, with the last snap of her family being published to her social media on December 19 of last year.
Meanwhile, in October, she shared a video during Halloween celebrations of Archie and Lilibet.
In a timelapse, sped-up clip of Prince Harry carving a pumpkin, Meghan, Archie and Lilibet could be seen playing around in the background.
The footage captured a rare glimpse of Archie and Lili with their heads turned towards the camera.
Though the pictures were blurry, it is the first time a photo of Lili’s face has been shared publicly since 2022, when an official portrait was released for her birthday.
Archie’s face has not been shown in a photo since the Sussexes’ Christmas card in 2021.
It came days before Harry appeared on podcast Hasan Minhaj Doesn’t Know to warn parents about posting their children’s faces on social media.
Asked whether parents should post photos of their children online, Harry said: ‘Parents can do whatever they want. But from what I’ve seen, what I’ve heard, what I’ve experienced, is you should be really really worried, concerned and cautious about putting photographs of your kids online.

Do YOU think sharing this photo was the right move?
‘Especially now, with this surge of unregulated AI. You don’t know where it’s going to go, how it’s going to be used.
‘But that’s also really sad. There’s parents watching this asking “well how am I supposed to share photos with people across the world”.’
Reports have recently emerged suggesting Meghan is planning a return to British soil this summer for the first time in four years.
However, it is said she will only set foot on the island if security arrangements are put in place for her and Harry.
It is believed Meghan will join her husband at the upcoming Invictus Games one-year countdown in Birmingham on July 10, ahead of next year’s event.
She has attended similar ceremonies in both Canada and Germany, and sources say she is keen to do the same in the UK, provided safety concerns are handled.
Meanwhile, talks over whether the Sussexes will receive taxpayer-funded protection during the visit remain ongoing.
