Israel releases video of airstrikes in Iran
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have shared footage purportedly capturing their strikes on Iranian military personnel, who were reportedly preparing missile launchers in Western Iran aimed at Israel. According to the IDF, this operation was part of the largest military flyover ever conducted by the Israeli Air Force, involving approximately 200 fighter jets.
In a bold move that underscored the escalating tensions, Israel launched synchronized airstrikes against Iranian targets. These strikes were carefully coordinated with the United States as part of a collaborative effort to counter Tehran’s military capabilities. The video released on Saturday showcases the precision airstrike on missile sites within Western Iran.
The operation was carried out under the guidance of the IDF’s intelligence units and the Israeli Air Force, focusing on dismantling Iranian missile and defense installations in both western and central regions of the country. The IDF emphasized the scale and precision of the mission, highlighting that it was executed after meticulous planning and with the aid of high-quality intelligence.
“This marks the most extensive military flyover in the history of the Israeli Air Force, a feat achieved through precise coordination and strategic planning, involving hundreds of fighter jets,” stated the IDF.
Alongside the video, a map was provided to illustrate the areas targeted during the Western strikes against Iran, as reported by Fox News.

Fighter jets dropped hundreds of munitions on about 500 targets, including aerial defense systems and missile launchers, attaining air superiority over Iran and severely degrading its offensive capabilities.
“The military flyover thwarted numerous threats to the IAF’s fighter jets and to Israeli civilians,” the IDF said, adding that the IAF continues to operate in Iran.

Israel announced it had launched an attack on Iran shortly after explosions were heard in Tehran Saturday morning. One of the first strikes hit near the offices of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. It wasn’t immediately clear where Khamenei was at the time; he hadn’t been seen for days.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz described the attacks across the country as being done “to remove threats.”
Iran’s military, symbols of government and intelligence sites were targeted, an official briefed on the operation told The Associated Press on condition of anonymity to discuss nonpublic information.
President Donald Trump said the joint effort was a massive operation to destroy the country’s military capabilities and eliminate the threat of it creating a nuclear weapon.

World leaders were split over the U.S.-Israeli military operation.
