Visitors to Warriors’ Path State Park in Kingsport, Tenn., might observe some exciting renovations taking place on Duck Island, most notably the addition of a vibrant new meadow. According to Ranger Ethan Sane, the park’s administration has been actively considering enhancements that would significantly enrich the park’s offerings. These plans have gained momentum thanks to the Iris Fund, a generous $15,000 state grant dedicated to resource management and habitat development.
