On Monday evening, President Trump openly expressed dissatisfaction with Mojtaba Khamenei’s appointment as Iran’s new supreme leader, following his father’s passing. In a candid interview, he remarked, “I don’t think he can enjoy a peaceful existence.”

In conversation with Fox News’ chief foreign correspondent, Trey Yingst, Trump indicated that he believed Tehran was eager to criticize efforts to resolve the US-Israel conflict, which reached its 11th day on Tuesday.

“It might be possible, depending on the conditions, just possible,” Trump commented to Yingst while traveling on Air Force One from Miami to Washington. “We kind of don’t need to have discussions anymore, if you think about it, but it might be possible.”

Earlier in the day, Trump had praised Operation Epic Fury during a briefing with journalists at his Trump National Doral Miami golf club.

Regarding Iran’s military capabilities, the president stated, “They lack a navy, an air force, and their anti-aircraft systems have been destroyed. Their radar and telecommunications infrastructure have been dismantled, and their leadership is in disarray. It’s all gone.”

He concluded by saying, “So, you could interpret those results as significant achievements. We could declare it a success as of now, but we’re choosing to push further. More actions are forthcoming.”
