PICTURED: 12-Year-Old Girl Dies After Fight With Middle School Classmate

Authorities in Georgia have launched an investigation into the tragic death of a 12-year-old girl following a reported altercation with a classmate.

Jada West, a student at Mason Creek Middle School, passed away on March 8, just three days after collapsing near her home in Villa Rica and subsequently falling into a coma. According to WSB-TV, the incident occurred on March 5 after Jada reportedly engaged in a fight with another student shortly after disembarking from the school bus.

Footage captured on a cellphone allegedly shows Jada falling to the ground and losing consciousness during the confrontation. Although she initially managed to walk away, she later collapsed, prompting a friend to alert her mother about the situation.

Reports indicate that Jada suffered cardiac arrest, leading to her death the following day.

While the exact cause of the altercation remains unclear, Jada’s family has revealed that she had been experiencing conflicts at school involving a boy and a girl.

The Villa Rica Police Department, in conjunction with the Douglas County District Attorney’s Office, has confirmed that they are actively investigating the case. The results of Jada West’s autopsy are still awaited as part of the ongoing inquiry.
