Iran threatens to 'pursue and kill' Netanyahu after prime minister declares Israel, US are crushing regime

Iran has issued a stark threat against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, vowing to “pursue and kill” him in response to Israel’s recent missile strikes targeting western Iran on Sunday morning.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran expressed this ominous warning via an online statement, labeling Netanyahu as a “child-killing criminal.” This information was reported by the Associated Press, referencing Iran’s state-run IRNA news agency.

These tensions have escalated following Netanyahu’s recent remarks, in which the 76-year-old Israeli leader announced that the United States and Israel were actively working to dismantle Iran’s influence and reshape the geopolitical landscape of the Middle East.

“We are living through historic times, times that will be chronicled in Israel’s history,” Netanyahu proclaimed during a national address on Thursday. He emphasized the ongoing military campaign, dubbed ‘Operation Roaring Lion,’ asserting, “We are dismantling the terrorist regime in Iran and combating its proxy, Hezbollah, in Lebanon.”

This conflict has now entered its third week, having commenced when the U.S. and Israel initiated a joint military offensive. The operation targeted key military sites across Iran and notably resulted in the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and 40 high-ranking officials during an airstrike on a fortified Tehran compound.

Despite facing relentless threats from Iran’s military, which has included missile and drone attacks on Israeli territory, Netanyahu has maintained a firm stance against Iran’s aggressive actions.

“Threats come and go—but when we become a regional power, and in certain fields a global power, we have the strength to push dangers away from us and secure our future,” he said.

“In 1993, I published a newspaper article and I wrote: ‘The greatest danger to Israel’s existence is not found in the Arab states; it is found in Iran.’ Since then, for over 30 years, the murderous regime of the ayatollahs has indeed acted to harm the US and the West, but first and foremost, it acted to advance its plan for the destruction of Israel.”

On Sunday, the IDF launched “a wave of extensive strikes targeting infrastructure of the Iranian terror regime in western Iran.

President Trump on Saturday said Iran is begging to end the war, but he is not willing to talk to them until the Iranian regime is serious about the proposed terms.

“Iran wants to make a deal, and I don’t want to make it because the terms aren’t good enough yet,” Trump told NBC News.

The agreement between the US would require Iran to completely abandon any nuclear ambitions.

Trump reiterated that the conditions of the terms have to be “very solid” in order for him to agree to them, ending the military campaign.
