The bodies of three fishermen have been found after they went missing off South Australia’s Limestone Coast.

Concerns arose around 2:30 pm yesterday when the three men, all from New South Wales and aged 65, 67, and 74, did not return from a fishing trip near Beachport, approximately 300 kilometers southeast of Adelaide.

In response, a large-scale search operation was launched, involving PolAir crews, State Emergency Service volunteers, local boat operators, drones, and water police.

Police have confirmed the recovery of all three men’s bodies.

“Police thank the emergency service personnel and members of the public who assisted in the search,” SA Police said in a statement.

Members of the public have been asked to leave the boat in situ for police to collect.

Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
