Mueller probe cut corners, broke rules to 'get Trump,' whistleblower claims

An FBI agent who was part of Robert Mueller’s investigation into Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign has come forward with explosive claims of misconduct and political bias within the team. The agent alleges that the investigation was so biased that their office was decorated with anti-Trump cartoons, and team members even consumed alcohol while working.

This agent described a pervasive “let’s get him” mentality during the two-year probe into unfounded allegations that Trump and his team conspired with Russia to influence the election. These claims, the agent asserts, significantly skewed the investigation’s integrity.

The revelations were initially disclosed in December 2020 when the agent was interviewed during an internal FBI investigation into misconduct by Brian Auten, a then-supervisory intelligence analyst who played a key role in both the Russia collusion inquiry and the Hunter Biden laptop controversy.
