Former President Donald Trump took to social media on Saturday with a provocative message celebrating the passing of Robert Mueller, the former FBI director and Special Counsel.

“Robert Mueller just died. Good, I’m glad he’s dead. He can no longer hurt innocent people! President DONALD J. TRUMP,” Trump remarked shortly after reports confirmed Mueller’s death.

Mueller gained widespread attention when he was appointed Special Counsel to investigate the 2016 election, a probe that loomed over Trump’s tenure in office.
