Savannah Guthrie gives these new clues about what was found at missing mother Nancy's home: 'This is not OK'

Savannah Guthrie has shared unsettling details about her mother Nancy’s home on the morning she inexplicably disappeared. The scene was ominous: doors left ajar, blood at the entrance, and the Ring camera conspicuously removed.

During a recent interview on the “TODAY” show with Hoda Kotb, Guthrie recounted the chilling discovery. “The doors were propped open, there was blood on the front doorstep, and the Ring camera had been yanked off,” Guthrie described, painting a picture of alarm and confusion.

Initially, the family speculated that a medical emergency might have occurred overnight. “We were saying, ‘This is not OK,’” Guthrie reflected, considering the possibility that paramedics had come to assist her mother, given the open back doors.

However, this theory quickly unraveled as they surveyed the scene. “We thought maybe they came and there was a stretcher and they took her out the back,” Savannah explained. Yet, the presence of Nancy’s phone, purse, and other personal items left behind contradicted any logical scenario.

“We thought maybe they came and there was a stretcher and they took her out the back,” Savannah said.

“But her phone was there, her purse was there and all her things. It just didn’t make sense.”

Investigators previously disclosed some of the details about what was found at Nancy’s home — including her cell phone being discovered — but have been largely tight-lipped about the state of the house.

Savannah was not in Arizona on the morning of her mother’s Feb. 1 disappearance, but her sister Annie was in Tucson and rushed to the home after friends called to say Nancy hadn’t appeared to watch a Church service with them.

That’s when the house was found in disarray, leading the family to phone police.

As they called around to check local hospitals for medical emergencies — and realized that was not what happened — Savannah got on a plane and rushed to Arizona to aid in the search.

“It’s just absolutely terrifying,” Savannah said of the situation — which became worse once horrifying footage from Nancy’s home security system revealed a masked and armed intruder trying to break in.

“It’s just totally terrifying, and I can’t imagine that that is who she saw standing over her bed,” Savannah said, breaking down in tears.

“I can’t. It’s too much.”

No known signs of Nancy have been found in the nearly two months since she vanished, and no suspects have been identified.

Several people were detained and questioned, but each was released within hours.

And a series of ransom notes demanding cash for Nancy’s release or knowledge about her vanishing were received — but nothing ever came of them.

Savannah confessed she feels she does “need to know” what really happened to her mother, but she also believes she already received a message from God revealing the truth.

“I heard a voice. And it said, ‘You do know where she is. She’s with me. She’s with me.’” Savannah said.

“So whether she’s on this side still or whether she is in heaven, I know where she is. I know who she’s with. But we need to know.”
