US officials have confirmed the destruction of an American E-3 Sentry aircraft during an Iranian offensive targeting Saudi Arabia’s Prince Sultan air base. Newly released photographs have corroborated these reports.

Images that have gained traction online, authenticated by AFP, depict the E-3 Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) aircraft as severely damaged, split into two, following the combined missile and drone strike on Friday.
