The trial is scheduled to commence on April 28 at 8:45 a.m. in the Miami County Common Pleas Court, under the supervision of Judge Jeannine N. Pratt. During a hearing on Monday, Flynn appeared in court, though he remained silent as his attorney, Paul Watkins, sought a postponement of the proceedings.

The case dates back to February 16, when authorities allege that Caleb Flynn fatally shot his wife, Ashley Flynn, aged 37, several times in the head.
