Geelong alleyway brawl
Three 14-year-olds have been arrested following a shocking alleged gang attack on a boy in a Geelong alleyway.

A concerned passerby notified authorities of a disturbance involving teenagers near the intersection of Little Malop Street and James Street at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Disturbing footage depicts a group of five teenage boys aggressively kicking, punching, and slapping another boy, while a sixth teen stands guard at the entrance of the alleyway.

“Right now, the approach is too lenient and lacks firmness,” a witness commented on the current situation.

Victoria Police emphasized their commitment to ensuring safety in Geelong’s central business district, with a particular emphasis on the area around Little Malop Street.

“We are acutely aware of the challenges faced in the mall area,” stated Officer Murphy.

“This is a lively section of the Geelong community, and local councils, stakeholders, retailers, and business owners are diligently working to transform it into an inviting environment for visitors,” he added.

“It is really frustrating that we have a small cohort of individuals that really spoil it for everybody else.”
