'Endangers your life': Israel sends sinister threat to Iranian citizens

The article, which draws on insights from U.S. officials familiar with the President’s mindset, describes Trump as “the most bloodthirsty” leader they have encountered. It notes that even prominent figures such as Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and Secretary of State Marco Rubio seem more pacifistic by comparison.

President Trump has issued a stark warning to Iran, threatening to target and destroy key infrastructure, including bridges and power plants, unless the country reopens the Strait of Hormuz by the upcoming Tuesday Eastern Time deadline.

Nevertheless, a senior official from the administration revealed to Axios that the President might reconsider his position. “If the president sees a deal is coming together, he’ll probably hold off,” the official explained.

The same source emphasized that ultimately, the decision rests solely with President Trump.

“But only he and he alone makes that decision,” the official said.

Axios reports several people close to the president, including Vice President JD Vance, are calling for Trump to seek a deal with Iran.
