Nolte: Former WaPo Editor Marty Baron Finally Admits to Biden Decline Cover-Up

Marty Baron, the former executive editor of the Washington Post, has recently acknowledged that the mainstream media may have neglected to thoroughly scrutinize former President Joe Biden’s mental and physical well-being. This admission comes after years of speculation and criticism surrounding Biden’s capabilities during his presidency.

Baron made this revelation while speaking at the Peter F. Collier Awards for Ethics in Journalism at New York University. In his address, he briefly touched upon the media’s reluctance to rigorously examine Biden’s cognitive abilities. This candid acknowledgment comes amidst his broader critique of former President Donald Trump.

The media’s portrayal of Biden as mentally robust has been a point of contention, with critics arguing that there was an intentional effort to downplay any signs of decline. Those who raised concerns about Biden’s condition were often dismissed or criticized by the media, highlighting a potential bias in coverage.

While Baron’s remarks shed light on this issue, he has yet to fully address his own involvement during his tenure at the Washington Post. Critics argue that such admissions from media figures often come too late, after significant impacts have already been felt, and without any real commitment to change.

Under Baron’s leadership, the Washington Post faced criticism for its intensive coverage of the Trump administration, particularly during the Russia investigation. This approach has been likened to CNN’s strategy, which also resulted in declining viewership and credibility. Baron’s editorial decisions are seen by some as having transformed the Post into a platform with a distinct political leaning.

This is typical of the corrupt media. These serial liars always do this. After it matters, they kinda-sorta-perhaps own up to it, and then promise a change that they have no intent on making.

One thing we should all thank Marty for is his invaluable aid in destroying the Washington Post. His corrupt jihad against Trump during the president’s first term was only rivaled by CNN, and just like it turned CNN into a ratings ghost town and national punchline, Baron’s 24/7 Russia Collusion Hoaxing, and the like, has gutted the Post into what it is today, which is basically a left-wing blog.

In the wake of Baron’s dishonest and unethical rule, the Post has lost hundreds of millions of dollars, resulting in hundreds of layoffs and a place of disgrace and infamy with any Normal Person who believes in truth and the ideals of journalism.

Those of us who hate the legacy media owe Marty a huge thanks. What he did to aid and abet the destruction of the Washington Post was truly invaluable.
