Victoria Beckham revisited her Spice Girls roots, striking the iconic peace sign pose during the launch of her latest GAP collection in New York City.

The celebrated fashion mogul, now 52, was surrounded by her supportive family on Wednesday evening as the Beckhams gathered to mark the debut of her brand’s new collaboration.

Accompanying Victoria were her husband David, daughter Harper, 14, and son Cruz, 21, alongside his girlfriend Jackie Apostel, 30. Notably absent was her son Brooklyn, 27, likely due to their ongoing family tensions.

This GAP collection pays homage to Victoria’s formative fashion years, featuring classic pieces such as denim jackets, capri pants, and minimalist T-shirts.

This collaboration highlights a strategic pivot in the fashion arena, as she endorses the beloved retail staple with her signature ‘VB’ touch.

Cruz showed his support by sporting a hoodie from the collection, while the event also attracted stars like actress and model Michelle Randolph, Ali Larter, and fashion editor Nina García.

Victoria penned in the caption of her Instagram post as she shared snaps from the night: ‘What an incredible night celebrating the launch of @gap x Victoria Beckham!

‘Thank you to the amazing teams who helped us bring this collaboration to life and to my friends and family for coming to celebrate with us in NYC xx.’

She looked as chic as ever for the event in a slouchy navy suit and white T-shirt while David, 50, wore a dark blue co-ord.

In what she describes as a ‘pinch me moment’, Victoria is hopeful the new fashion generations become as excited as she was shopping at Gap in her teens and 20.

She told The Sunday Times: ‘I remember going to Gap with my mum and sister and being so excited by it.

‘Growing up, it was only ever the high street. I wasn’t in a position to wear designer clothes.’

It comes after Victoria addressed her ‘challenging’ past year amid her feud with son Brooklyn in a rare TV interview on Tuesday.

When asked on the Today show by hosts Jenna Bush Hager and Sheinelle Jones about the tumultuous recent time for the family Victoria didn’t specifically reference her son, but said she will ‘always protect’ her kids.

Jenna directly asked her in the interview: ‘You have had a pretty public challenging year – we have talked about it on this show. How do you get through the tough times?’

She replied: ‘You know, myself and David, we’re so close and we have incredible people around us.

‘We’re close to my parents and David’s parents. We support each other through everything that we do.

‘We love our children so much and have always really focused on protecting our children. But we laugh a lot. David Beckham is really, super funny.’

Brooklyn cut ties with his family in a scathing social media statement in January, declaring he has no plans to reconcile with his famous parents and accusing them of ‘controlling him for most of his life’.

David and Victoria have not been seen with their son since.

Victoria also said in the new interview that her and her husband rely on each other to navigate tough times.

She said: ‘We support each other through everything that we do. We’ve grown together. And that’s where I feel so blessed.

‘We really have grown together. We support each other. We’ve both got big dreams. We’re both very, very ambitious and we support each other. I want him to be the best version of himself and that’s what he wants for me.’

After the TV appearance Victoria shared snaps with the presenters and a glimpse of herself getting ready backstage.

As the interview dropped Brooklyn posted a snap on Instagram with his dogs as he continued to ignore the drama.

Just last week Victoria said it’s important that her children behave ‘appropriately’ amid the family’s ongoing feud with eldest son Brooklyn.

The Spice Girl was asked about her son before talk turned to her youngest child Harper.

Describing her 14-year-old daughter, Victoria said: ‘She’s very sweet, she’s very kind, she works hard, and she’s also very appropriate, which I think is really important as well.’

Her remarks followed Brooklyn’s explosive statement about their estrangement, in which he claimed that Victoria had danced ‘inappropriately’ with him at his 2022 wedding to Nicola Peltz.

She also addressed the feud directly, saying: ‘I think that we’ve always — we love our children so much. We’ve always tried to be the best parents that we can be.

‘And you know, we’ve been in the public eye for more than 30 years right now, and all we’ve ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children. And you know, that’s all I really want to say about it’.

Victoria was also asked about whether she feels ‘remorse’ about bringing her family, including her four children, Brooklyn, Romeo, 23, Cruz, 21, and Harper, 14, as well as her parents, into the public spotlight.

She told The Wall Street Journal: ‘I wouldn’t say it comes with guilt, I’d say that there was a lot of adjusting from my mum and dad, when all of a sudden there were paparazzi outside their house,’ she replied. ‘We’ve really taken our families on this ride with us’.

David and Victoria haven’t spoken to Brooklyn since last May, when he and his wife Nicola Peltz snubbed the former footballer’s 50th birthday celebrations.

Brooklyn and Nicola’s lawyers wrote to the Beckhams’ legal team demanding that they only converse through them.

Shortly before Christmas, Brooklyn blocked his parents on Instagram, and in January, he posted a brutal, bombshell six-page letter on the social media platform.

He claimed David and Victoria controlled him for most of his life, tried to split him and Nicola up and left him embarrassed when his mother danced ‘inappropriately’ with him during his first dance at his wedding.

Speaking about all four of her children earlier in the interview, Victoria added that ‘being a parent of young adult children and adult children, gosh, I mean, it’s very different from having little children’.

‘I think that we’re trying to do the best we can,’ adding that the negative press in the past three months has not affected her fashion and beauty business.

‘I think that ultimately people are buying my product because the product is really good. I don’t think they’re buying my eyeliner just because it’s me,’ she said.
