In a thrilling premiere to the 35th series of ITV’s “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire,” retired IT consultant Roman Dubowski emerged as the seventh contestant to claim the £1 million prize. This triumph unfolded during Sunday’s highly anticipated episode.

The network has tantalized audiences with the promise that two participants in this series will tackle the ultimate £1 million question, adding an extra layer of excitement to the show.

For Roman, just securing a spot on the program was a dream realized, having applied three times over the span of more than 20 years. Yet, his journey to the million-pound question was not without its challenges.

Roman’s path to victory was marked by a tense moment early on; he found himself needing to use the Ask The Audience lifeline on a seemingly straightforward £1,000 question. Despite this rocky start, he displayed remarkable composure and strategy.

He approached the final question with two lifelines still at his disposal. In an impressive display of confidence, he solved the 15th question within two minutes, leaving the Ask The Host lifeline unused.

Throughout the episode, contestants faced a diverse array of questions, spanning topics such as history, theatre, mayonnaise, and Harry Potter. How well would you fare against such a broad spectrum of inquiries?
