Tragedy struck early Sunday morning in Brooklyn when a 26-year-old man was fatally stabbed outside a local bar, following an altercation that escalated violently, authorities reported.

The victim, identified by police as Amare Simmons, resided at a Manhattan shelter. Simmons was rushed to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, where he was later declared dead. The second victim was treated and is currently in stable condition, as confirmed by the New York Police Department.
