Tragic revelations have surfaced concerning the deaths of three individuals at a family residence in Sydney’s southwest, as authorities detain a man for questioning.
Authorities reported that a couple in their sixties, along with two of their sons, were assaulted at their residence on Juliet Close in Rosemeadow shortly after 1:30 a.m. on Sunday.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene following calls about a violent incident and were met with what was described as a “very grisly crime scene.”
Superintendent Grant Healey, Commander of Campbelltown, informed the media on Sunday morning, “Police initially encountered a 65-year-old woman and commenced first aid… upon entering the home, they discovered a 64-year-old man who was still alive but suffering from severe head injuries caused by blunt force.”
Additionally, they discovered a deceased male in a separate living area at the back of the property.
It is believed that the deceased man was the family’s youngest son, aged 25.
Superintendent Healey said another brother, aged 30, contacted emergency services after he was assaulted. He was taken to Liverpool Hospital and was released after receiving medical treatment on Sunday morning.
Officers arrested a 32-year-old man an hour after the grim discovery when a silver sedan pulled up at the scene.

The driver of the car, who is believed to be the couple’s eldest son, was taken to Campbelltown Police Station where inquiries are continuing.
When asked by reporters if the man would be charged today, Superintendent Healey said: ‘It’s still very early. We have a few things to run through’.
He said the family, who are Asian-Australians, were not well known to police.
‘This is a very tragic incident, there was no way for us to predict this type of thing was going to occur,’ he said.
‘This is an incredibly rare incident and it’s incredibly tragic.’
Superintendent Healey said police believe more than one weapon was used during the deadly attack, including a bladed weapon and one that would cause ‘blunt force trauma’, which he agreed may have been a hammer.
No firearms are believed to have been involved.

Another neighbour said he was awoken at 1.30am by the sounds of what he thought was ‘a car chase.’
‘Then all the emergency cars came and a silver Subaru returned to the street. Someone said they saw a man hold up his hands as police approached him,’ he said.
As investigations continued into Sunday afternoon, forensic officers were seen taking a thermal imaging camera into the house and transporting evidence from the scene.
